About Randy Shoup, the Singing DJ

Randy attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. He traveled throughout the United States as a professional singer with such acts as Charo, Little Anthony and the Imperials, The Drifters and many others. Randy has performed on television shows including "Getting Together", "Light Music" and "Come Alive". Music is Randy's full-time career, teaching voice by day and working as reception planner, master of ceremonies and disc jockey by night.

Randy has taught voice to many radio personalities and various singers in the Pittsburgh area. He has also performed at over 700 wedding receptions. To ensure that your special evening runs smoothly, Randy will coordinate the reception with all the vendors (photographers, videographers, caterers, etc.) and be your master of ceremonies with announcements that are informative, fun and precise. Randy will also entertain as he sings an after-dinner set where he imitates the singers whose songs he performs. The Singing DJ will spin all the songs you want played. Just ask.
